The Shakers
Formed as a Houseshaker line up in 1977 but only did one gig at Dingwalls in Camden Town, North London before they became The Shakers. After a few weeks gigging they took on the role of the Savages with Screaming Lord Sutch. This lasted until 1984 and during this period the band toured with The Stray Cats and The Cramps.
Reformed in 1990 their first gig was the George Robey pub in North London. In attendance that night was a certain Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple and Rainbow fame.
The band made regular visits to Europe to headline Rock 'n' Roll and Psychobilly concerts. They played with Screaming Lord Sutch up until his death in 1999
